Flange focal length measurement

   For the measurement of the flange focal length the distance between the rear focus and the flange surface is measured.

   1) First ,place a plat at the position of the flange, then  the telescope with attachment achromat is moved such that the image of the collimator reticle is reflected and appeared on the camera.

   b) In the second step, take off the plat, and  the telescope is moved such that the surface of the specimen is sharp in the view,      The distance between the two positions is the flange focal length to be measured:
